About Kathleen
Kathleen Putnam, MS RD
Kathleen has spent fifteen plus enjoyable years as a dietitian and lifestyle coach. She co-founded NutritionWorks Consulting over ten years ago and loves working with people to improve their health, reduce stress, and to live the highest quality of life possible. Kathleen feels particularly passionate about supporting individuals, parents and families in making healthy life choices. One diet does not suit all and Kathleen enjoys partnering with her clients to improve their relationship with food, their body and ability to live the fullest life while reaching for their goals. Kathleen enjoys working to bring the best methods and information to her clients at NutritionWorks.
As a nutrition expert and parent coach, Kathleen currently consults with organizations to support program development, including Regence BlueShield. She has extensive experience in coaching, educating, and presenting the latest material to reach a wide range of clientele including parents, children, bariatric patients, eating disorders, diabetics and persons with cardiovascular conditions. Kathleen has incorporated counseling, public speaking, education and medical nutrition therapy into her practice. She worked extensively with Swedish Medical Center in the Dean Ornish, Cardiac Rehab and wellness programs. She is certified as a parent coach, EBT (Emotional Brain Training) provider, and Shapedown provider for pediatric obesity. Kathleen has contributed to professional writings, hosted message boards for WebMD and EBT, and a talk show on VoiceAmerica. Kathleen spends her down time with her hubby Mike and daughter Hope traveling as much as possible and when not...biking the trail, swimming, reading books and trying to grow a garden.
